The music

A catalog built
over two decades.

The story

Made in Haiti.
Made to awaken.

Born Alain Moraille in Port-au-Prince, JahNesta found reggae young and made it unmistakably Haitian. Singing in Kreyòl, French and English, his music carries the realities of Haiti through roots, resistance, spirituality and love.

From Solda Jah to Rebel to Rezistans, the message has never depended on trends. JahNesta is historically also credited as Jah Nesta and Jahnesta.

Kè Kal
Manman

A cultural marker in Haitian reggae—music that challenged the stigma surrounding Rastafari and dreadlocks while speaking in Haiti’s own voice.
